Keiroukai 2023

On September 24, the Day of Respect for the Elderly (Keiroukai) was celebrated at the Japanese Association of Encarnación.
An emotional event took place before serving a delicious lunch, beginning with the words of Vice President Andrés Chiba, and then listening to the words of the Consul of Japan in Encarnación Mr. Akira Ikarashi and ending with the words of the President of the Senior Citizens Club Mr. Yukio Noguchi.
Before closing the event, they were given gifts, from the Association as well as from FujibuEnc.
After lunch, the engeikai or cultural event took place.
There was no shortage of traditional Japanese dance by Fujinbu; the choir sung by the members of the Senior Adults Club; the performances of the students of Nihongogakko Encarnación, the members of the different zonal groups, Seinenbu Enc and Taiko.
The song sung by the Consul of Japan was also not missing.
