TAIKO IN ENCARNACION

Encarnacion Taiko Club (Encarnacion Taiko Hozonkai in Japanese) began to take shape in 2007 and was made official in April 2008, with the aim of participating in cultural activities and transmitting this part of the Japanese culture to the entire society and future generations.

What began as an exclusive discipline for Nikkei members, today welcomes all those interested in practicing it, whether or not they are members of the Association and whether or not they are Nikkei.

YOSAKOI ENCARNACION GROUP

Yosakoi is a dancing style originating in Japan, that began to be practiced in 1954, in the city of Kochi, where until today it is danced in the most commercial streets; because it was originally intended to attract people to the shops, to revive the postwar economy.

In Encarnacion, the Yosakoi Group, made up of children and adults of different ages, was created on October 2, 2017 and since then they have participated in different events.
