National Badminton Tournament

Players representing the Japanese Association of Encarnacion participated in the National Tournament badminton, played on the fields of the National Sports Secretariat in Asunción.

Our athletes achieved important triumphs:

– MÍA TANIKAWA TAOKA: National Badminton Champion in Single Category Under 17.

– ANYU TANIKAWA TAOKA: Vice National Badminton Champion in Single Category Sub 19.

– ANYU AND MÍA TANIKAWA: National Double Badminton Champions. Women's Category Sub 19.

Congratulations!!!

Pamela Ishimoto, also competed in the Tournament and achieved:

– 3rd Place in Female Single in Category D

– 3rd Place in Women's Double in Category D

– 3rd Place in Mixed Double in Category C.

In addition, Ms. Mirta Huang and Bright Chen, who are not members of our Association but practice on our courts, also won medals.
