Visit of Deputy Shinsuke Okuno

On June 26th, the President of the Japanese Association of Encarnación, Mrs. Aiko Kurosu, received the Japanese Deputy, Mr. Shinsuke Okuno, who did courtesy visit to our Association to strengthen the bonds of friendship between Paraguay and Japan.

Deputy Okuno is the President of the Japan/Paraguay Parliamentary Friendship League.
The Deputy visited the Nikkei Paraguayan Identity Center and the House of the Tea Ceremony of our Association, listening carefully to the explanations given by members of the Board of Directors. 

It was also an opportunity for the Deputy to get to know our Paraguayan folk dance, a little about our carnival and the Taiko performed by the Encarnación Taiko Club.
A very significant moment was when the Deputy met with the older adults of our Association. He himself took enough time to listen to them.

We feel honored that Deputy Shinsuke Okuno has taken an interest and tried the foods of Paraguayan and Japanese cuisine, going through those foods that were adapted to the ingredients obtained in our Guarani land, very well explained by our President Mrs. Aiko Kurosu. All of them prepared in our Association.
