Extraordinary general assembly
The Extraordinary General Assembly for the election of President and Vice President and members of the Board of Directors was held on Sunday February 9.
Mrs. BEATRÍZ AIKO ISHIGAKI DE KUROSU was unanimously elected President of the Japan Association of Encarnacion, being the first woman to hold this position in a Japanese Association in Paraguay.
Doña Betty, as everyone affectionately knows her, is a mother, grandmother, housewife, businesswoman and previously served as Fujinbu's Presidency in Encarnacion for several periods; and, the Vice Presidency and Treasury of the Japanese Association of Encarnacion.
