Michi no eki for Itapúa

The Secretary of Tourism of the Government of Itapúa convened a meeting on various topics such as: actions to promote typical products that identify each area of ​​the department, the promotion and development of Japanese culture and immigrant colonies, among other points.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Japanese Associations of Encarnación, La Paz and Federico Chávez as well as Consul Ikarashi and Mrs. Verónica Stefani. It is worth mentioning that Ms. Stefani went to Hokkaido – Japan last year for a JICA scholarship to learn about “Michi no eki”. She then evaluated a possible opening of a "Michi no eki" in Itapúa.
